Last updated: February 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Phoenix Collective (“Phoenix Collective,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Phoenix Collective mobile application and related services (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2) What Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways: (a) you provide it, (b) it’s collected automatically, and (c) it’s received from third parties (limited cases).
A. Information you provide
Depending on how you use the App, you may provide:
- Account information (e.g., name, email address, password or authentication token)
- Profile information (e.g., optional photo, preferences, time zone)
- User content you choose to enter (e.g., notes, reflections, journal entries, responses to prompts, goals, comments in community areas)
- Support communications (e.g., messages to customer support, bug reports)
B. Information collected automatically
When you use the App, we may collect:
- Device and usage data (e.g., device type, operating system version, app events, feature usage, crash logs, performance data)
- Approximate location derived from IP address (not precise GPS) for security and general analytics, where available
- Identifiers (e.g., device identifiers or app instance IDs)
C. Purchases and payment information
If you purchase subscriptions or other in-app products, payments are typically processed by the Apple App Store and/or Google Play and/or our app building software. We may receive purchase status and transaction identifiers (e.g., whether your subscription is active), but we do not receive your full payment card details from the app stores.
3) Sensitive Information and Wellness Content
Phoenix Collective may offer content related to stress, trauma, performance, or wellbeing. Any personal information you choose to enter into the App (including reflections or journal-style entries) may be sensitive by nature.
- We do not require you to provide sensitive personal information to use core features unless it is necessary for a specific feature you choose to use.
- Please do not submit information you do not want stored in connection with your account.
Medical disclaimer: The App provides education and self-guided tools and is not emergency services. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, call local emergency services.
4) How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide and operate the App (account access, subscriptions, feature delivery)
- Personalize your experience (preferences, content settings, reminders if enabled)
- Process purchases and manage subscriptions (via app store signals/receipts)
- Communicate with you (service messages, updates, support responses)
- Improve and secure the App (analytics, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, security monitoring)
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
5) How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in limited circumstances:
A. Service providers
We may share data with vendors that help us operate the App (e.g., hosting, analytics, crash reporting, customer support tools). They are permitted to use data only to provide services to us.
B. App stores and payment platforms
Purchases are processed by Apple/Google. We may share or receive information needed to validate purchases and manage subscriptions.
C. Legal and safety
We may disclose information if required to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud, or enforce our agreements.
D. Business transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable privacy protections.
6) Advertising and Tracking
- The Phoenix Collective App does not serve third-party ads.
- We may use analytics tools to understand how the App is used and to improve performance.
- You can limit some tracking via your device settings (e.g., iOS “Allow Apps to Request to Track,” Android privacy settings), where applicable.
7) Permissions and Device Access
The App may request certain permissions only if needed for features you choose to use (e.g., notifications).
We do not require sensitive device permissions (like contacts, microphone, camera, or precise GPS) unless a specific feature explicitly needs it and you enable it.
You can manage permissions in your device settings at any time.
8) Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to:
- provide the App,
- maintain your account and subscription status,
- comply with legal obligations, and
- resolve disputes/enforce agreements.
When data is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or de-identify it, subject to technical and legal constraints.
9) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12) International Users
If you use the App from outside the United States, your information may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.
